Following is a description of the various registration levels for the 2009 SEAFWA conference in Atlanta, Georgia. Information includes level benefits and registration cost.
General Registration - $280
- Entry into SEAFWA sessions
- Sunday Evening Welcome Reception
- Tuesday Awards Banquet at Georgia Aquarium*
- Monday and Tuesday Continental Breakfasts
- Refreshment Breaks
- Exhibit Hall Access
Student Registration (Valid College ID required at registration)-$100
- Entry into SEAFWA sessions
- Sunday Evening Welcome Reception
- Monday Student Workshop & Job Fair
- Monday Evening Student Social
- Monday and Tuesday Continental Breakfasts
- Refreshment Breaks
- Exhibit Hall Access
- Opportunity to attend a Monday Student/Mentor Lunch**
- Tickets to Tuesday Awards Banquet at Georgia Aquarium* must be purchased separately
Workshop Only Registration - $85
- Entrance to workshop sessions
- One Meal and associated break(s)
- Exhibit Hall Access
Awards Banquet Ticket - $110
Exhibit Hall Only - $50
Spouse Registration - $200
All spouse registrations include the following:
- Sunday Evening Welcome Reception
- Tuesday Awards Banquet at Georgia Aquarium*

Additionally, spouses can choose from two excursions (or choose to do both!). Shuttle vans will leave the Omni Hotel at 9:45 am and return by 4 pm each day.
* Tuesday Awards Banquet at Georgia Aquarium: Participants at the 2009 SEAFWA Conference will delight in this exquisite setting for the annual Awards Banquet. The Georgia Aquarium is the world’s largest aquarium and banquet guests will be seated near fantastic fish displays, including whale sharks and beluga whales.
** Student/Mentor Lunch: If you are interested in participating in a student/mentor lunch, be sure to elect that option during your registration. You will need to indicate what profession (i.e. fisheries, wildlife, law enforcement, etc.). The deadline to register for the lunch is October 15th.
